SecuGen iD USB SC

SecuGen iD-USB SC is a 2-in-1 device that houses a state of the art SecuGen fingerprint scanner as well as a PC/SC compliant contact smart card reader most suitable for dual-factor authentication applications. The iD-USB SC is equipped with a high performance SDU03P fingerprint optic module based on SecuGen’s patented SEIR technology which is designed with the focus on durability and reliability.

SecuGen iD USB SC uses the same optical sensor as Hamster Plus which features Auto-On™ (automatic finger placement detection) and Smart Capture™ (self-adjusting scanning technology). This Plug ‘n Play, hot-swappable device captures high quality fingerprint images even from difficult to read fingers (e.g. dry, wet, scarred or aged skin).

The embedded contact smart card reader of iD USB SC is based on HID OMNIKEY 3121 with AVR chip. It is compliant with ISO7816 and EMV 2000 level 1 standards. 5V, 3V and 1.8V smart cards are accepted. The device also supports PC/SC and PC/SC-based APIs.

AUTO-ON
