Lumidigm V300 Description
V-Series Module fingerprint sensors from Lumidigm are built to capture high-quality images of fingerprints in difficult to capture scenarios. These include scenarios when the fingerprint ridges are hard to distinguish due to, finger placement, genetics, age, dirt, finger or environmental conditions. V300 enables capturing of such prints by capturing the subsurface fingerprints of an individual to increase the biometric device’s performance. Thus V300 is effective on all varieties of people. It also results in more accurate fingerprinting which in turn results in applications getting more secure. V300, thus, reduces unnecessary overheads of management and enhances end-user experience.
Apart from the end-user advantages, V300’s superior technology enables higher throughput or more results (fingerprint scans) in lesser time. The V300 runs on a lightweight sensor which is small in size but is nevertheless equipped with multiple interfaces for communication. These interfaces allow it to be easily integrated with any system and it provides three output options viz. template, fingerprint image and match score.
