SecuGen SDU03P fingerprint sensor modules are used all over the world by original equipment manufacturers (OEM). This rugged and compact optic module is FBI PIV, FIPS 201, Mobile ID FAP 10, FCC, CE, and RoHS compliant.

SDU03P is one of the SDU series of OEM grade fingerprint sensor modules from SecuGen, that’s built on time-tested, patented next-generation fingerprint technology (SEIR) that ensures high quality imaging and accuracy. It features a standard USB interface which enables the fingerprint optic module to transmit data effectively and easily.

The Auto-On technology allows the fingerprint sensor module to check for a finger’s presence and Smart Capture technology captures fingerprint images in less than 0.5 seconds. It can also capture high-contrast, low-distortion, and high quality fingerprint images from difficult to read fingers (e.g. dry, scarred, wet and aged fingers) by automatically adjusting the sensor’s brightness even while working under direct sunlight or extreme conditions.

The SDU03P is a versatile standalone fingerprint recognition system that can capture and match fingerprints with templates from registered users and it can store up to 3,000 user’s data. The optic module can function effectively without any computer and integrates with multiple varieties of applications i.e. third party tools, door locks, access control units, time & attendance systems, ATMs, Kiosks and PC peripherals.

FALSE FINGERPRINT REJECTION

In order to improve security, SecuGen’s fingerprint sensors reject false fingerprints which are available via photocopies or printed sheets. Only authentic fingers are approved for further processing of data.

A state-of-the-art Auto-On feature automatically turns on the device as soon as a finger is placed for scanning. This allows for quick authentication without waiting for the device to be powered on.
