It comes with Suprema’s Hybrid Live Finger Detection (LFD) technology, which gives RealScan-G1 an edge over competition. Live Finger Detection technology protects the system from circumvention. Fake fingerprint made with flexible material like rubber, silicone, film, paper, etc. bring along subtle irregularities, which can be detected by RealScan-G1’s analysis algorithm.

Suprema RealScan-G1 can survive accidental liquid spills, moisture and dust that might sneak in due to harsh environmental conditions. Due to its protective construction it got IP54 rating.

WIDE PLATEN

Platen size is very important in capturing a full fingerprint from all sides without fingertip falling out of platen border. RealScan-G1 has a fairly wide platen measuring 1.1 inch, which can capture fingerprint images with 500 x 500 pixels resolution. Wide platen allows users with all fingertip sizes to comfortably place their finger on the platen and RealScan-G1 to capture fingerprint images without any partial loss.
