Nitgen eNBioScan-D Plus

Nitgen eNBioScan-D Plus (DFDU500) is an advanced dual fingerprint live scanner with large fingerprint input window/scanning surface with platen size of 48.3 x 48.3 mm for flat fingerprints and 40.6 x 38.1 mm for roll prints. eNBioScan-D Plus has an interactive user interface which is used to direct finger positioning while scanning to get optimum results.

Compared with other single fingerprint scanner available in the market, Nitgen’s eNBioScan-D Plus’s fingerprint image provides enhanced accuracy for identification and verification purposes – while reducing the time to obtain a full enrollment. This two-print live scan device delivers fast, accurate and reliable results for identification, verification and enrollment programs.

eNBioScan-D Plus produces dual finger flat images and single finger flat/roll images. The images are of standard 500 DPI resolution and are of 952 x 952 pixel size (for dual finger flat images) and 800 x 750 pixel size (for single finger flat/roll images).

Nitgen eNBioScan-D Plus has a rugged build and can be used in extremely harsh conditions. The two-print live scanner has a Moh’s abrasion hardness score of 7.4, making it resistant to scratches, impact and mechanical vibrations. The product also uses an Auto-on functionality that automatically detects finger presence for operation. This makes the module highly power efficient and yet fully functional and compliant with government standards for image quality.

INPUT WINDOW

The two-print live scanner features a large input window for fingerprint scanning. The platen size is 48.3 x 48.3 mm for flat fingerprints and 40.6 x 38.1 mm for roll prints. This large input window ensures that the image captured is complete and convenient for user applications.

TECHNOLOGY

It uses advanced optical technology combined with large platen surfaces. The two fingerprint live scan device is equipped with Nitgen’s Auto-On and Live Finger Detection technologies.

USER INTERFACE

eNBioScan-D Plus has an interactive user interface which is used to direct finger positioning while scanning to get optimum results. It uses 3 color LEDs and audio buzzers to direct users. The module is capable of notifying the user when the scanning process begins and ends.

CONNECTIVITY

eNBioScan D Plus is compatible with systems working on Windows (2000 or higher) and Linux (kernel 2.6 or higher) and can easily be connected using the USB 2.0 high speed interface.
