Description:
The Suprema BioMini USB fingerprint scanner provides extensive fingerprint capture capabilities in a desktop and networking environment. The ANSI- 378 and ISO19794-2 compliant device, equipped with the latest 500 dpi optical fingerprint sensor, is an ideal reader for fingerprint based security systems; perfect for identification, verification, voice authentication and scanning based applications.
This Suprema Biomini is extremely robust and reliable as it is based on the state of the art optical sensor system. This device is scratch and impact resistant and free of damage from electrostatic discharge making it ideal for biometric based access control system.
Compatible with Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP, Vista and Linux, it provides an ideal biometric based security environment with multiple devices handling capabilities, plug and play features, scratch resistant surface and the ability to capture high resolution images. This device can be incorporated with fingerprint based SDKs available in the market to implement a customized fingerprint based software solution.
The Suprema BioMini measures 66 X 90 X 58 mm and operates best in the temperature range -10 to 50 degrees centigrade, its optical sensors capturing images with the resolution of 288X 288 pixels. This biometric security device has been used successfully in diverse applications ranging from point of sales machines, fingerprint based computer login, fingerprint access control, fingerprint time and attendance applications, E-Commerce, B2B transactions, banking and financial applications, etc.
