Description:
The Secugen Hamster Plus Fingerprint Scanner by SecuGen Biometric Solutions, incorporates the latest in optical sensor capability, using patented SEIR technology, to provide a robust and highly reliable biometric platform that can be used in applications supporting biometric authentication, verification and scanning.
This optical fingerprint reader, measuring 27 X 40 X 73 mm, and weighing a mere 100 grams is highly rubust. The device works perfectly in the temperature range 0 to 40 degrees and humidity less than 90 % with non linear distortion less than 0.1 %. Due to the use of advanced optical sensors the images captured are of very high resolution and Non-Lossy.
The Secugen Sensor features Auto-On and Smart Capture technology which helps in creating a biometric application that is robust and at the same time highly reliable. The Auto-On feature switches on the scanner whenever it detects a finger. The Smart Capture technology ensures the quality of the captured images at all times.
The device is highly robust thanks to the hardened fingerprint contact area that makes it resistant to scratch, impact and electrostatic discharge. The ergonomically designed biometric authentication device is designed to capture images of any finger and thumb in a reliable manner.
The Secugen Hamster Plus Fingerprint Scanner includes an integrated guide, removable weighted stand and an USB cable. This device is compatible with a wide range of applications including E-Commerce, electronic transactions, bank and financial systems, medical information systems, password based applications, etc.
