The Futronic FS 90 Fingerprint Scanner uses a sophisticated optical scanner to capture, scan and download distortion free images into PC’s in less than 100ms, providing a perfect platform for identification, verification and scanning applications.

This compact, rugged device measuring 57 X 29 X 27 mm, weighing 80 grams is perfect for a mobile and PDA environment and can be used to create a reliable security system. Its advanced image capture facility, automatically adjusts the intensity of light to capture, wet, dry and blurred fingerprints with equal ease. The fingerprint scanning window is robust and reliable as it is made of 13 mm crown glass which makes it scratch and impact resistant.

This fingerprint device can also be used with fingerprint SDK to capture high quality fingerprint images for maintaining biometric attendance. The device works best in the temperature range -10 to +55 Degree Celsius and is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux based operating systems.

The Futronic FS90 Fingerprint Scanner supports live fingerprint detection and has advanced plug and play features with Universal Service Bus (USB) connectivity. This makes it perfect for recognition, verification, identification, authentication and scanning based applications.

FS90 USB2.0 Mini Fingerprint Reader uses specially designed optical system to deliver high quality image in a very small form factor. It is 57(L) x 29(W) x 27(H)mm and just slightly larger than one half of Futronic FS80 USB2.0 Fingerprint Scanner but can capture a fingerprint image with quality as good as FS80. It can scan an almost un-distorted raw fingerprint image into PC in 100ms and is good for any fingerprint recognition application.

Futronic FS90 is perfect device for mobile application. It is small and with a 0.3 meter USB cable which is more convenient to be carried around by notebook PC users and used together with PDA or mobile phone.

The finger scanning window is a crown glass with a thickness of 13mm. It is much more reliable and robust compared to any semiconductor type fingerprint sensor.

The finger is illuminated by 4 infra-red LEDs during scanning and the light intensity is automatically adjusted according to scanning fingerprint's characteristics (wet, dry, blurred, etc) to optimize the quality of the captured fingerprint image.
