This secret code can only be read/written by the software developer and its application. Without knowing the secret code, the scanner will not be able to work with the software application.

Description:
The Futronic fingerprint scanner uses advance CMOS sensor technology and optical systems to capture high quality fingerprint images consistent with Federal Information Processing Standard 201 for personal identification (FIPS 201/PIV) . This reliable platform has also been approved by the US General Services Administration for its employees.
Each Futronic fs88 fingerprint scanner has a unique serial number which makes the device trace-abe and ideal for any government program. The device uses a highly sensitive camera to capture wet, dry and blurred images making it a perfect platform for fingerprint recognition, verification, identification, and scanning based applications.
This device features the latest in biometric technology including live fingerprint detection and secret code feature which makes it ideal for access control system. The scanner is compact in size measuring 66 x 66 x 29 mm and weighing just 150 grams and works best in the temperature range -10 to +55 Degree Celsius.
This device is USB 2.0 compatible and with the help of Futronic FS88 fingerprint scanner 2.0 drivers, the user can easily make use of plug and play capabilities. The system requirements include Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Linux and Windows CE 5.0 and 6.0.
