Live Finger Detection: Special electronic circuit is built into the device so that only live finger can be scanned into PC. Fake fingers made from silicone rubber, play-doh, etc. will be rejected
Secret Code Feature: The secret code feature essentially functions as a hardware key for the software applications. This secret code can only be read/written by the software developer and its application. Without knowing the secret code, the scanner will not be able to work with the software application.
Supports: Fingerprint recognition, fingerprint verification, fingerprint authentication, fingerprint scanning & fingerprint matching applications.

Description:

FS82 Fingerprint Scanner With Smart Card reader combines Fingerprint Scanner and an ISO7816 smart card reader into one device.

Fingerprint scanner and smart card reader can be combined for two-factor authentication. Registered fingerprint can be stored on smart card (carried by user) which is read into PC to match with a freshly captured fingerprint from the fingerprint scanner at the time of authentication.

Software developers can use this device with various Fingerprint SDKs to develop customized fingerprint matching software solutions. This USB fingerprint scanner is widely used for fingerprint recognition, fingerprint verification, fingerprint authentication & fingerprint scanning applications.
