The Crossmatch Live Scan 500P Palm Scanner, compact in size and light in weight, offers a reliable platform for criminal investigation and forensic analyses. This FBI certified device is perfect for scanning the upper, lower areas of the palm.
This reliable fingerprint reader is based on Cross Match’s path breaking livescan technology, capturing high quality, forensic quality images that comply with FBI’s Image quality specifications.
This access control system uses patented auto capture technology to take high resolution images within the matter of a few seconds, speeding up the enrolment process considerably, ensuring the safety of security officers and greatly improving the efficiency of the crime fighting machinery.
The easy to use interactive LCD features buttons and icons that help in providing an immediate feedback of the fingerprint images taken. System requirements include Windows XP/Vista compliant, 3GHz CPU with a minimum of 512 MB of RAM. The PC interface should be preferably IEEE 1394A and OHCI compliant, with scanner units, mounting bracket, protective platen cover, and IEEE 1394 interface cable for best performance.
This robust biometric security device is perfect for implementing an access control interface with an average Mean Time between Failure of 45, 000 hours or 5 years of continuous operation. The device meets the stringent standards set by the industry including certifications from FBI Appendix F, UL, IEC, DIN, EN, FCC, RoHS and SCA.
