Bayometric’s Web-Based Biometric User Identification System is a fingerprint based system that uses a
fingerprint reader to identify people who are registered in the system.
This automated fingerprint identification system consists of a registration module and a biometric identification module. Registration is done by entering demographic information, capturing fingerprints using a fingerprint Scanner and capturing photograph using a webcam or a regular camera. During the identification stage, a person keeps his fingerprint on the fingerprint scanner and his record, including his photograph, is displayed on the screen.
This
biometric security system is compatible with most Operating Systems and works with any web browser.
Bayometric’s Web-Based Biometrics Identification system, compatible with over 30 fingerprint scanners available in the market, is able to match hundreds of thousands of fingerprints accurately within a few seconds.
This Biometric system uses a central database where all registration records are kept. When a user tries to register into the system, the system checks whether there is any prior record of registration. If the person is already registered in the biometric system, the system would draw a red flag, alerting the management.
The system is aimed at cutting costs, reducing instances of fraud, maintaining systems integrity and identifying users. The system's parallel multi-node fingerprint server architecture makes this biometric security solution highly scalable and ideal for large-scale automated fingerprint identification systems (AFIS). The software can be easily customized to send fingerprints to an agency for Background checks.
The Web Based Biometric Identification System can be easily integrated with existing CRM systems to prevent duplication of data. This biometric security system is a cost effective security solution for medium to large organizations.
